Doberman Pinscher - Linda - Large - Adult - Female - Dog
Linda is a 1 1/2-2 year old Doberman/Sharpei mix weighing approximately 65lbs. She was saved from a high kill shelter (where she was a staff favorite) at the last minute while being pregnant. She went into her foster mom where she gave birth to a litter of 10. Her foster mom feel in love immediately as this beautiful girl just wanted to constantly give hugs and kisses. She had surgery to correct cherry eye in both eyes so that her future home would not have to incur any expense from this. Despite the cherry eyes and pregnancy, she remained a sweet and loving dog. Linda lived in her foster home with a 90lb dog, a 15lb terrier, and 2 large pitbulls and did great with all of them. She played all day with the small dog and was submissive to the rest of the pack. She wanted to play with them but knew they didnt want to play with her and she respected that. But that was ok with linda because she would find ways of entertaining herself. He foster mom would find her playing with her puppies, laying out sun bathing, or just laying down next to her foster mom playing with a toy. She really loves to play with toys and Nyla bones. She also enjoys eating carrots. Beside being a ball of love, this girl knows sit, down, paw, and walks great on a leash. She is not crazy about going to her crate, but with a nice piece of cheese and a Nyla bone or toy she will go right in and stay quietly. When she is outside she mostly just lays out on the grass with a toy, plays with her small dog friend, or plays fetch. She loves people but can be a little bit fearful/protective when on leash.
